First light
Filter coffee, baked eggs, seeded bread from the north bakery, and stewed fruit. A slow start for guests coming off a late night.
Home / The Counter
Ground floor
One long zinc counter runs the length of the old banking hall. It is where the building wakes up and where it winds down.
The day, in service
We keep the kitchen honest and seasonal. Nothing here is a package or a deal — just plates when you want them.
Filter coffee, baked eggs, seeded bread from the north bakery, and stewed fruit. A slow start for guests coming off a late night.
A short list of small plates and one hot dish that changes daily. Sit at the zinc, read the paper, watch the river traffic.
Timed for curtain. Tell staff your show and they'll pace the courses so you leave without watching the clock.
Toasted sandwiches, a bowl of something warm, and a proper nightcap for guests drifting back from the district.
At the bar
The bar runs a tight list built around one house aperitif, a rotating pour of local beer, and a full shelf of alcohol-free options that are treated with the same care as everything else.
If you are heading to the gaming lounge later, staff are happy to keep things light — a clear head is part of a good night.
